2011 FLORIDA DEPOSIT ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION
March 16, 2011: Location TBD - Orlando
Speaker: Ken Golliher - Principal - Pegasus Educational Services, LLC

NEW - See the bottom of this page for information on how to view this entire event via live streaming video on your computer or in your bank's training room...on the same day as the live event in Orlando.

A brochure will be available approximately 60 days before the event.

We are pleased to offer this event not only as a face-to-face seminar, but also through a live streaming video feed over the Internet.

This is one of the most popular and highest rated annual programs offered by the Florida Bankers Association.

It has always been important to know: Is the title consistent with legal requirements under state law? Is ownership/access properly documented? Does the TIN obtained meet IRS requirements? What’s the difference between “joint with a right of survivorship” and “tenants by the entireties?” Now, since there are required responses to “Red Flags” regarding identity theft, examiners will be paying more attention to this process than ever before.

This full day seminar addresses those critical issues. However, it goes beyond that information to include common issues in account administration – changes that may be necessary years after an account is opened. How should a financial institution handle a request to add or remove a signatory on an account? What are the legal requirements for a valid power of attorney? This is the most comprehensive program available on this topic. Attendees say the manual remains on top of their desk – it is their most common reference tool!
