Banking professionals will develop a strong understanding of banking law, BSA/AML, consumer protection, compliance, and financial transactions. In addition to better understanding the compliance issues surrounding their work and effectively strategizing for and identifying potential legal and regulatory hazards. The FBA has established a Curriculum Advisory Board that includes Chief Compliance Officers from FBA member banks around the country to provide insight to FSU program directors. This ongoing committee meets regularly to help ensure classes offer the most up-to-date information to meet the challenges facing bank and regulatory compliance officers and staff. Some of the advisory board members have also joined the program as adjunct professors, further illustrating their belief in the quality and value of this program.
